Every December, somebody at the company gets handed the job of figuring out employee Christmas gifts for everybody. It usually lands on whoever answers the phone. Here's how we'd approach it, and what we make in our shop in Temple, GA.

Employee Christmas gifts that go to work the next morning

Our test is simple: will they wear it or use it on Monday? A gift card gets spent and forgotten. A good hat or a jacket with your logo on it shows up on the job site all winter. That's the same reason crews keep wearing the company gear they liked.

The hat

A hat is the easiest yes. We do embroidered caps and leather patch hats, and the difference between leather patch and embroidery comes down to look and budget. Leather patches read as premium. Embroidery is clean and holds up to a lot of washing. The Richardson 112 with a leather patch is the one most crews ask for. The Carhartt Watch Cap 2.0, embroidered with your logo, covers the cold months.

The jacket

If the budget allows one bigger gift, make it a Carhartt jacket with your logo embroidered on the chest. It's the piece people keep for years.

Carry it and keep it

For drivers, installers and anyone who hauls gear, we do Carhartt lunch coolers, canvas backpacks and 16-inch tool bags, each with a leather patch. On the smaller end we engrave Streamlight flashlights, pocket knives, 13-function multi tools, drinkware and leather key chains. Engraved gear is a good way to reach everyone on the list, including people who already own three hats. Browse the product catalogs or see how we've handled recent projects.

How ordering works

  1. Text us your logo at (770) 796-4770.

  2. We send you a proof. Nothing gets made until you approve it.

  3. We quote it. Quotes are good for 30 days, and orders are paid in full before production starts.

  4. Pick it up free in Temple, 9am to 9pm at 1123 Lemon Rd, or we ship at cost.

We take orders of any size. If you're buying for a crew of six or sixty, the crew packs page and our wholesale program cover both. Pricing depends on the item, the decoration and the quantity, which is why we quote every job. If you want the general picture first, start with our custom apparel pricing guide or the FAQ.

When to order

Christmas orders close November 13. Order by then and your gifts will be ready before the office party. Some items take longer than you'd expect. Woven patches alone run about three weeks. After November 13 we'll still try to fit you in, at a 25% rush charge, but we can't promise it.

Not sure what your crew would wear? Our industries pages show what electricians, landscapers, churches and other teams usually order.

Ready to start?

Text your logo to (770) 796-4770 and we'll send you a proof. Or request a quote and tell us how many people are on your list.
