Hobbs Peak has been making hats for Southern Company crews for years — long enough that we maintain a dedicated library of stitched leather patches for the operating companies (Georgia Power, Alabama Power, Mississippi Power, Atlanta Gas Light) and built a separate /socohats configurator that lets a crew lead pick any blank, pair it with any SoCo patch, and get the per-unit price up front.

Our stitched patch library covers every operating brand under the Southern Company umbrella. Georgia Power: rectangle, wide rectangle, square (brown), triangle (orange or brown), and round (orange or brown). Alabama Power: rectangle (orange or brown — multiple variants), wide rectangle, square (orange or brown). Mississippi Power: rectangle (orange or brown), square (brown). Plus general Southern Company state-outline patches (AL, GA, MS) in orange or brown. We can also stitch custom variants — Greene County substation, specific service-center crews — on request.

Blanks for the SoCo program span six options. The Richardson 112 is the crew favorite — classic trucker shape, structured 6-panel, mesh back, snap closure, $32 single-unit price. The Richardson 112PFP carries a camo PolyTwill front with the same mesh back, $34 single-unit. The Richardson 168P is the flat-bill camo snapback for crews that prefer that profile, $34 single-unit. The Richardson 256 is the premium rope hat (5-panel, structured) at $36 single-unit. The Lost Hat Co handcrafted premium blank ($36 single-unit) and the Zapped Headwear Blackhawk premium blank ($38 single-unit) are the upgrade picks for owner / foreman / management tier within a larger crew order.

Volume pricing applies to every SoCo blank under the standard Hobbs Peak hat ladder. Order 6+ and you drop $2/hat. Order 12+ and you drop $4/hat. Order 24+ and you drop $6/hat. The ladder continues through $7 (36+), $8 (50+), $10 (100+), and $12 (200+). Most crew orders land in the 24–50 unit range — substation, work center, or regional service-territory rosters — which is the sweet spot for both pricing and turnaround.

For individually-named crew hats (name embroidered above the back snap closure on snapbacks, or above the cuff on knit beanies), add $3 per hat and send us a per-hat name list. Lead time on individually-named crews stays the same as a standard run because we pace the embroidery head accordingly. Standard turnaround is 2–3 weeks from approved proof. Reorders on previously-approved patch/blank combinations skip the proof phase and ship in 7–10 business days.
